What is the deal with November 11, 2011? Even non-spiritual people have noticed that this date seems special somehow. It’s not everyday that the month, day, and year all contain the same digits. Many people regularly make wishes when the clock reads 1:11 or 11:11. Who came up with this? Why did we think it was a good idea to make a wish at such a time? While there is a lot of speculation out there on what these numbers mean, ranging anywhere from the end of the world to everyone instantly finding enlightenment, I’m here to add my two cents to it.
Whenever I see the numbers “11” or “111” throughout my day (and I often do), I instantly think of the meaning behind it as listed in Doreen Virtue’s “Angel Numbers 101.” This wonderful book literally goes through each and every number from 0 to 999 to explain what each number’s message is from the angels. This is a great book to use whenever you see a number repeating in your life whether it be on clocks, license plates, billboards, or anything your eyes land on. What she recommends is to notice what thoughts you were just thinking, as often the number relates to these thoughts.
Virtue’s book states that when you see 11, “Stay positive! Your thoughts are materializing rapidly, so you want to ensure positive outcomes by focusing only on the good within yourself, others, and this situation.”
When you see the number 111, “This message brings you the urgent message that your thoughts are manifesting instantly, so keep your mind-set focused upon your desires. Give any fearful thoughts to heaven for transmutation.”
With the idea that your thoughts are manifesting instantly if you're seeing the number 11 or 111, it is a really great idea to "make a wish." If you're making a wish, you're most certainly focusing on the positive aspects (or at least I hope you are) and what your heart truly wants.

Numerologically, 11/11/2011 is an 8-day. This means that it’s a great day for finances, manifestations, and any form of abundance, especially in a financial or business form. In this manner, 11.11.11 really isn’t an 11 day at all (which would technically be a 2 day and for partnership).
Many lightworkers—people who believe that they are literally beacons of light to help spread love and light to the world through spiritual endeavors (if you’re reading this blog, you’re probably a lightworker)—first “wake up” to their divine mission by seeing this number repeatedly. When I was first reopening my gifts in my teenage years, I began to see this number everywhere. It was just my guides and angels saying, "Hey! Time to wake up!" 11:11 serves as a way to turn on a light bulb, so to speak, in your mind. Your higher self pre-programmed or planned for you to "wake up" to your higher consciousness in this life at a certain time or for a certain reason and this is that inner alarm clock going off and waking you up. It's your higher self, God/the Universe, your angels, and your guides trying to get you to realize that there's more than this third dimensional world available to you right now.
Even now, I literally see it every single day of my life. I see it in clocks, license plates, billboards, bar codes, phone numbers, my router number, dollar bills, and even receipts. It’s just everywhere. Often times I feel that for me now, this is more like a message from my guides and angels that's just them saying, “Hello!! We love you and we’re working on your prayers right now so keep the faith!! You are on the right path, just keep spreading and focusing on your love and light!!”
You can literally change and create your own life. This is the gift of free will. Once you recognize this fact, life becomes so much easier and more enjoyable. While we each have our own specific lessons and gifts to spread in this life, we can always change the specific situations that allow us to spread these gifts and learn those lessons. So long as you are pure of heart and with good intentions, only good can come of it.
Whenever you are visualizing the life that you want, picture it as though it is already so. Truly put yourself in that moment. What are you wearing? What do you feel? Who's with you? What is around you? Where are you? Do this and truly believe it has already manifested, for this will speed it up ten-fold. After doing this exercise, remember to say "This or something better" or "God's will be done." That way, no harm is done to anyone and even if that vision is not in your best interest, the best possible outcome will transpire.

As far as the specific date, November 11, 2011, I believe that it serves as a definite mark in a shift in consciousness of the world’s population. While this date won't bring sudden perfect psychic awareness, it's more like a mark in an on-going process. Many of you have already been going through changes in the last several months, or maybe even years that have to do with this shift. I like to see this date as kind of the final deadline for everyone to kind of wake up. Basically by this point, everyone will begin to feel this shift in consciousness on some level, even if they're not consciously aware of it.
This is very much a very personal and inward change that will be taking place in you. You may experience more negative people and situations in your life, especially between now and November 11. This is because everyone has to release their own negative energy in order to sort of "rise above" and become higher on a spiritual and vibrational level. Do not let this get to you, but just bless them and let it go. Do not listen to negative information that brings you down. Do not give this any power. You can either react to life or truly create the life you want with your free will. You will become more and more aware of this fact. Many of you will even get more and more messages throughout your day through thoughts, feelings, and ideas. The more you trust these thoughts and feelings from your guides and angels, the more you open up your intuition and you will be more and more able to walk in your perfect path with ease.
Do not listen to fear-based ideas or threats. Focus on what your own intuition tells you. You can recognize the difference between the two by the way they really make your mind and body feel. Often, fear-based ideas or ideas that aren't aligned with your higher truth will create a clenching feeling in your heart or stomach, or just leave you feeling angry, sad, or depressed. This is not your intuition! Your intuition is that quiet little voice that comes and goes and leads you to avoid that wreck on the freeway back taking the back route today. Its the little voice that leads you to call an old friend only to find out that she was just thinking about you. Your intuition will always leave a feeling of peace and love in its messages. You will feel totally at peace with the messages and ideas presented in your inner world from your guides, angels, and higher self.
Situations, emotions, and people in your life that you thought you had been finished with may begin to pop back up in your life. This is simply so that you can completely deal with it once and for all and then let it go fully. Do not get frustrated by this but know that you have been needlessly holding onto it and that it is harming your aura. By it surfacing and coming to the light, you will be able to totally deal with it, let it go, and never have to mess with it ever again.
You may find that people in your life that you have been really close to or even loved have fallen away from you. Please know that this has happened only to help and to serve you. Earlier this year I had a pretty good friend. Let’s call him John. Now John and I were never that close, but we did hang out quite a bit and generally trusted one another. Well I had always sensed that he was not necessarily in my best interest to get close to emotionally. He had problems in his own life that he wasn’t handling in the best fashion and really focused on the negative side of people and situations a little too much. But me being well… me, I looked past that and was still nice to him and tried to be a good friend when he needed me. One day he really needed a place to stay for a night, so I offered that he stay at my place. Well John decided thirty minutes before getting to my place that it would be okay to stay a week, without even asking if it was okay. This in itself was an issue, as I don’t like being taken advantage of. On top of this, he also brought in a dog without asking, proceeded to bring some bad “substances” into my home, and expected me to clean up after him and take care of his dog without even asking me to do so. Needless to say, there was quite the falling out by the end of all this. While it definitely hurt at the time (I’m sure it hurt both of us), now I am able to look back on that and recognize that it was simply time for that relationship to end. I still see him regularly even today. He gives me a death glare when we’re alone (or flat out ignores me), but sometimes he is quite pleasant to me. No matter how he treats me when I see him, I still I give him the same smile and treat him in the exact same fashion that I do with everyone else that I meet. I even send him blessings and love in my thoughts, as love is the only way to truly heal and combat anything negative coming your way.
So in a way such as this, people may have already or may begin to fall away from you. Others will grow closer to one another. Know that whatever happens, it is always for everyone’s individual highest good. We are each on our own individual life path and we must respect that fact with everyone in our lives. Each of us have the exact same divine spark in us, no mater who we are or what we’ve done.
What else will this shift in consciousness bring? Well many of you will be enhancing your spirituality. Whether you are religious or not, you may begin to really explore a more spiritual side to life. You may need to sleep more or have jolts of energy at seemingly random times. Many of you will find your soul mates, life partner, and/or twin flame. Psychic/intuitive abilities will begin to increase more and more. You may find yourself waking up a lot more, especially between the hours of 3am and 6am, as this is when the vibrational energy of the earth is highest and many earthbound spirits, spirits on the otherside, and other entities can be sensed more easily. I still get woken up throughout the night. Sometimes this is by a noisy earthbound or even just my guides whispering something to me. Last night I woke up because I got the message that my cat needed food. I didn’t even pause to think about it and just fed him and immediately went right back to sleep. Pretty sure my kitty was sending some pretty strong hunger thoughts my way… :)
If you ever begin to feel fearful from your gifts and abilities opening up, know that you are perfectly safe!! Hundreds of angels are always with you, but they must respect the law of free will and can only help if you ask them to specifically help with something. Know that once you ask for help, it is instantly taken care of—believe this and it is assured to work smoothly and in the best way possible. Even if you can’t see what the point in a certain situation is right at this moment—know that every situation in life, and I mean every situation, is a blessing. Sometimes the blessings are disguised however, but it is always for your highest good and overall learning experience. The only reason you are on the Earth right now is because you were brave enough to come back here, seemingly away from God and spirit (though we can never separate) to learn. Sometimes learning isn’t easy. Think of it this way, however, most of the lessons we’ve learned—the really beneficial ones that made us who we are today—did you learn them while relaxing in bed or enjoying a nice ice cream sundae? No! Most likely you learned them from really dark, painful, and just plain difficult and seemingly unfortunate situations in life. Say thank you for these seemingly horrible situations—they are the greatest teachers.
I know that was a bit of a tangent, but I felt it needed to be said.
So is there anything that we should be afraid of with this new shift in conciousness on 11/11/11? Nope! In fact, I’m quite excited about it! The earth is changing, and so is every living creature on it. The vibrations are lifting as love is being more and more focused upon and sent throughout the world.
There may be more world tragedies and earthquakes and tsunamis. This is earth reacting to the damage we've done to it with pollution, hunting and killing of life, negative thoughts and emotions that we've sent out to one another that it has absorbed, wars, and just general negative energy that has been allowed to run rampant on the earth for so long.
Governments may begin to fall more and more, being completely upturned by new ideas and people. Many CEOs, government officials, and others in power who are not focused on love and are spreading fear to the world will be shown for who they really are. Do not feel fearful of this. These major changes will allow a new era to bustle in and literally help make the world a more peaceful and loving place.
Time may seem like it's speeding up. I know I've felt these energies for several months now and it seems like time is just flying by more and more these days! Whenever you feel stressed or like you can't complete something, take a moment to breathe and do something completely different and fun, then come back to it and it will get done.
Accept who you really are and really learn how to enjoy life. Some people will try to threaten you, tell you what you believe is wrong, or just plain not like you. Respect them for believing what they believe and just don't let it get to you. Others will embrace your ideas with complete agreement and excitement. We are each on our own path, so just try to focus on this and know that you are equal to everyone else and they to you. Always speak your truth and be impeccable with your word by guarding your thoughts and what you say. Focus on your own truth, centered in love, and you can do no wrong!

Say thank you for all of the blessings in your life—even if the only one you can think of the fact that you’re breathing. Say thank you. By doing this you literally help light up the world and bring more good to yourself and others.
All you have to do is trust in yourself, your higher self, God/the universe, the angels, and your guides. You are always safe, always loved, There is ALWAYS eternal love for you. I cannot stress this enough—there is ETERNAL love for you. It is unconditional and every single living thing in the entire universe has it. It is the pure spark of divine light in each of us. It is in every human, plant, animal, insect, etc. Focus on this love and know that you are already living in a healed, peaceful, and love-filled reality.
Find your own truth, based on what resonates in your heart and soul. To do this, simply recognize what brings you a sense of joy and happiness, usually in your heart center. Do not give your power to others or let others make you feel lower or take your sense of self-worth. Sometimes our own beliefs differ from others. That is perfectly okay. Simply believe what you believe, know that it is your truth, and respect others for their own beliefs.
Enjoy this shift in consciousness-- It is for everyone's highest good and ultimately it will bring you unimaginable happiness! :)
