What is Reiki?
According to "Reiki The Healing Touch First and Second Degree Manual" by William Lee Rand, founder and president of The International Center for Reiki Training, "Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation by Mikao Usui in March 1922. Reiki is administered by 'laying on hands' and techniques such as this have been practiced for thousands of years."
Reiki is literally means, the "universal/life force/divine energy." It is literally the energy of the divine, the creator, God, etc. I have been attuned to the energy by a Reiki Master in my training and I can therefore channel this energy for myself and others.
Who can benefit from Reiki?
Simply put, everyone and everyone can benefit. Reiki can only heal and help, it will never harm anyone. Reiki literally means "divine energy." This energy has a consciousness and molds to fit the individual experiencing the healing. It will adjust to the strength of healing you can handle and it will always go wherever it needs to go in the body.
What can Reiki heal?
While you should always continue to visit a medical professional, Reiki can greatly benefit anyone suffering from any kind of illness from stress to broken bones to insomnia and even cancer patients. It is always beneficial and will complement any therapy.
What can I expect from a session of Reiki?
Since this is over the internet and I cannot treat you in person, I will ask that we schedule a time that works for each of us in which you lie down on your bed or sit comfortably in a chair with an open back. At that time I will send Reiki energy your way and you will immediately receive it's healing benefits.
After the session, feel free to email me any questions or comments that you may have. I will email you anything that I felt during the session and any messages that may have come through for you during the session.
